Know what to do in your garden this month — right now, without searching.
Tend is a personal garden companion. Tell it what you grow, and it helps your garden thrive — surfacing the care each plant might benefit from, month by month, carefully curated for the plants in your growing spaces.
A garden companion that knows your garden
Most gardening apps hand you a generic plant encyclopedia and leave the rest to you. Tend works the other way round. You set up your actual garden — your borders, your pots, the plants you really grow — and Tend becomes a companion that helps the whole garden thrive.
Rather than chores to tick off, Tend gently surfaces the care each plant might benefit from — carefully curated for the plants in your growing spaces. No flicking through articles. No working out whether now is the right time. Open Tend and the answer is already there.
What you get
Your gardening year, season by season
The seasonal view shows your whole year at a glance. Its home panel surfaces seasonal tips, inspiring ideas and helpful advice — so there is always something to notice, whatever the month.
A closer look, month by month
Tap any month to see the care your plants might benefit from in the weeks ahead. Swipe a task to mark it done — or swipe the other way if a plant will not need that care until next year.
Pottering
Prefer to do all the pruning in one go? Pottering groups jobs by type across your garden, so you can work the way you like.
Living Colours
See when your garden comes alive. Living Colours maps flower and foliage colour across the seasons — and filters by garden space, so you can spot which areas might welcome a little more seasonal interest, like spring bulbs.
Ask Tend
Your garden companion, on hand whenever you need one. Ask Tend knows exactly what is growing in your spaces and what supplies you have in the shed. Ask it for advice on adding new plants to your spaces, tips on feeding, or help with a plant that is struggling.
Your shed, sorted
Tend keeps a running list of the feeds, mulches and supplies your plants will need — so you buy the right thing once, not three times.
Set up in minutes
A friendly walkthrough helps you map your garden spaces and add your first plants. Beginner or expert, you are tending in minutes.
Help shape Tend — become a beta tester
Tend is in closed testing ahead of its app-store launch. Before Google Play will let us go fully live, we need a group of gardeners using the app on real devices for a couple of weeks. That is where you come in.
What you would do
- Install the test build on your phone (Android or iPhone)
- Use Tend normally for around two weeks — add your plants, plan your jobs
- Tell us anything that feels off, confusing, or broken
What you get
- Early access before anyone else
- A direct line to the person building it — your feedback genuinely shapes the app
- The satisfaction of helping a small, independent project get out the door
Register your interest
We will only use your details to contact you about the Tend beta. Nothing else, no list-selling, and you can ask us to remove you at any time.
Partner with Tend
Tend recommends real products to gardeners at the moment they need them — the right feed for a hungry rose, gloves before a pruning job, bulbs in planting season. Recommendations are contextual and made in good taste; we do not run banner ads or interruptive promotions.
We work with Amazon Associates and the Awin network, and we are always interested in hearing from plant nurseries, bulb specialists and garden-supply retailers who would suit our audience.
As an Amazon Associate we may earn a small commission from some qualifying purchases — it helps contribute to our running cost, helping gardeners see their gardens thrive.
